Join me on a brand new workshop at two of Australia's most popular seascape photography locations!

Explore and photograph two of the most iconic seascape locations that Australia has to offer during this weekend workshop on the south coast of NSW. During this two night stay in picturesque Kiama, only 1-2 hours from Sydney, you’ll be guided by Ben to Bombo Quarry and Cathedral Rocks during optimal yearly sun alignment for compositions. With a small group of 4 participants, you will have individual attention to better your compositions and photographic technique during each shoot, as well as debrief sessions and personal post-processing instruction to bring the best out of your captures. To make the most of the time, intimate and abstract photography will also be explored to try and capture the anonymous details of each location, creating photography that is truly unique. Ben’s goal is to help you develop your personal photographic vision and show you how to achieve it, showing you tips, tricks and techniques that he has learnt during his 8 years of photography, at two of the premier seascape locations of our country.

Whilst no conditions can be guaranteed, this time of the year allows for the most varied opportunities at wide-angle compositions. Sun alignment is at it's best for both Cathedral Rocks and Bombo Quarry's south channel, and the milky way's galactic core will be rising out to the ocean at night. This means that if sunrise or sunset conditions are less than optimal with clear skies, then fantastic astrophotography opportunities will present themselves instead.
